My October Challenge

I don't know if anyone will ever read this but this is for me. I am on a journey to lose 75 pounds by the time my son turns 1. That is in 6 1/2 months. I may only make it to 60 pounds but that is pretty darn close. Each month I will be doing a series of challenges to get myself together and lose this weight.

For October I am starting TODAY, yes on a TUESDAY. I had an idea.I want to do this right in order for this to work I had to have a plan so here they are.

October 210
November 199
December 189
January 179
February 169
March 159
April 149

By the end of each month I want to weigh the weight you see up there. Here is picture of me on the scale right now at my heaviest weight 221 pounds. I will weigh on the 1st every month and give you guys the run down. Now mind you I have already lost 40 pounds I had gotten up to 260 pounds with my pregnancy I know ridiculous.

Here is my October Challenge.
I want to workout for 30 mins 3x a week or more. Tuesday -Thursday.

I also had a thought. What if I ate as though I already weighed what I wanted to weigh. I went to an online weight calculator and put in the following information:

Current Weight 200
Height 67 inches
Age 29
It said to maintain I need to eat 2037 calories.

The next site I went to said the following.
Current Weight 200
Height 67 inches
Age 29
It said to maintain I need to eat 1998 calories.

The third and final site
Current Weight 200
Height 67 inches
Age 29
It said to maintain I need to eat 2038 calories.

I decided to get an average of the three it was 2,024 calories. I am still pumping for my little guy and cant got into a full out 1400 calories deficit as I would before pregnancy so, I am going to air on the side of caution and go with 1800 calories. So, for the next 22 days I will be maintain a 1800 calorie deficit. Check daily for what I eat in day and I will culminate these into a video for the end of the month with a final weigh in on November 1.

Stay Tuned.
Be Blessed
Get Snatched.

Im a new mommy

Hi guys,

I promised you a new mommy post and so I am going to kind of talk about the birth of my son. I really don't want to share too many pictures of him right now and just because of people copying pictures and using them as their child and I'm just not really comfortable with that. Especially him being a baby.

My husband and I got pregnant in August or the end of July depending on how you look at it and our son was due on May 5 originally and when I went to the doctor in January they moved him up to May 1.

Anyway, we had a kind a rocky pregnancy we had a scare the first week I found out I was pregnant and I was put into the hospital. The first hospital that I went to tell me that I was trying to miscarry but when I went to the second hospital they told me everything was fine. The next scare we had was when I started to bleed and the doctor didn't know really where it was coming from but she informed me that if it didn't become worse then they weren’t concerned. It only last about 4 days but it was still scary.

I had a gender reveal in December and a baby shower in March. Other than that, it was a pretty uneventful pregnancy other than those 2 scares up until his delivery. When I went to the doctor for my checkup she told me that she can induce us or she could wait until I went into labor and we decided to induce. So, we went to the hospital that evening and he was delivered the next night.

He was not a problem but when he was born he was not breathing and he took them two minutes to get him to breathe and he had to be airlifted to our main hospital and he stayed in the hospital in the NICU for eight days. Three of those days he was on a cooling bed because they wanted to make sure that he didn't have any brain damage and then the rest those days they were just trying to make sure his body was regulating being outside of me.

They think he had two issues one was that you know he wasn't breathing when he was delivered and the other was that his body was still functioning as though he was inside of me instead of being on outside. He had to acclimate to being outside of the womb. But all of his test came back with no issues and the only person that I can think for there is the Lord. He put the right people in the right places at the right time he equipped us with the not with the other the knowledgeable people who helped with our son and we are so blessed and we will continue to put our faith in the Lord for everything that we need. He is awesome if you don't believe in him you need to try him. He is amazing. Our baby boys name is Jaxon and we are in love with him and I'm on this journey to being a good mom. I am a mommy who follows the word and who raises her child from the bible. My husband and I agree that that's the best way to raise a child so be blessed and have a wonderful day.
